About us and our history
In the early ’80s, Ithaca, NY native, Robert Leach, started his own small contracting business focusing on detail, solid craftsmanship, and customer service. After over 20 years of success, Robert’s son, Eric Leach, returned from the military and joined his father on the team, and together, they incorporated R. Leach & Son Contracting.
Eric knew that they needed to become an expert in one of the many services offered to grow the business. After much research, he found a genuine need for homeowners and local area businesses — a company that provided quality basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and foundation repair services. After a lot of hard work, the company grew to become Central New York’s leading provider of basement repair and foundation services.
What once was a small general contracting company in Central New York has become a multi-state household name for foundation repair, concrete leveling & lifting, and water control systems. We focus on detail, solid craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. Our goal is to revolutionize the foundation repair industry with the latest technology designed to last. We founded our company on a simple idea: deliver the highest quality product with the best customer service. We will treat every customer’s project as our own, which results in us consistently delivering on that promise.

Eric Leach
President & Founder
Eric Leach has years of experience in the foundation repair, waterproofing, and concrete leveling & lifting industry. Whether it’s a home or a commercial building, Eric will ensure that every property is well taken care of.
He believes that his crew members are family and treats them with respect. He also values his community and is very involved in helping out whenever he can. They are passionate, hard-working, and most importantly, compassionate! The team strives to ensure that every customer, new or existing, has a remarkable foundation repair or concrete lifting experience. Without a team that can provide a high level of customer satisfaction, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

In 2018, We quickly opened up our Newfield main office to better serve our customers. We then expanded to Syracuse and Northern Pennsylvania, to offer the same quality service.
The Unique Sub Division
In 2019 we added a subdivision, Midstate Concrete Leveling & Lifting, to increase the value of homes by helping the community remain safe with leveling sidewalks, patios floors, and more.
